Psychology is the science of thinking and behavior. Psychologists are dedicated to exploring human perception, cognitive abilities, emotions, personality, growth and abnormal behaviors. The curriculum of the department emphasizes both theory and practice, allowing students to master basic psychology knowledge and research methods, and lay a foundation for future service to the society or further studies. There are more than 40 subjects in this department. In addition to basic subjects such as Introduction to Psychology, Statistics and Research Methods, other study subjects can be roughly divided into five categories: cognitive science, educational and developmental psychology, social and industrial organization psychology, clinical and health psychology, and guidance -Style short-term self-help psychotherapy.
